Returns & Exchanges
I want to return my purchase! What do I do?
You can return your gift within 30 days of original purchase. If the return is the result of our error, we will happily cover the cost of return shipping. Just send it back in the original box! You can initiate the return process by accessing your past order from the “My Account” area. You will be asked to select which items in the order are to be sent, the reason for the return, and desired outcome (exchange or refund), along with any additional comments you may want to include. If you’d like, you can easily exchange your purchase by contacting Customer Service. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed.
I would like to return a gift that was sent to me. How do I do that?
You can easily return or exchange your gift within 30 days of receiving it. Contact our Customer Service team for more details.
Can I exchange my order instead of returning it?
Yes! We’re happy to exchange or replace your item if it is in stock. If your desires exchange item is not in stock, you can choose another product or contact Customer Service to find out when the item will become available.

How long does it take for me to get a refund?
All funds will be returned to your account within 14 days.
Typically, funds are returned to your account within 14 days, but usually sooner. If you don’t see your refund within 2 weeks, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
I am returning an item purchased with a Gift Certificate or Gift Card, how does that work?
We are happy to exchange items purchased with a Gift Certificate or Gift Card! You can initiate the exchange process by accessing your past order from the “My Account” area. How do I know if you carry a specific brand or color?
We offer hundreds of products, from dozens of brands. If a quick site search doesn’t yield the results you’d like, you can reach out to our Customer Service to determine if we carry what you’re looking for (or something you’ll love just as much!)
Are there BlueBasilGifts.com gift certificates and/or gift cards?
Yes! A Gift Certificate is a great way to put gift-buying in your loved one’s hands. You can purchase a certificate here, view your balance through the “My Account” page or redeem a certificate for purchase at checkout.
Do you have a catalog?
Our catalog is your one-stop-shop for all our current inventory of gifts. Please contact our Customer service team and they will happily assist you with access.

How can I write a review of a product?
Reviews help us learn which items are successful or if there are any issues we need to be aware of. You can review items by either searching for the item using the search located at the top of our website or by finding the item in your past orders in the “My Account” area.
How do I unsubscribe from any of your mailing lists?
You can easily opt out of our emails on your “My Account” page. Another easy option to unsubscribe is to scroll to the bottom of one of our emails in your inbox and select the “Unsubscribe” link.
How do I use my Gift Certificate/Coupon Code/Store Credit Code?
To use a Gift Certificate or store credit, you'll need your unique Gift Certificate code emailed to you as an attachment. The format should be Z50-Y6K-COS-402.
To shop, browse our store and add items to your cart.
Click the “View Cart” link to view the contents of your shopping cart.
Type your Gift certificate code in the “Redeem Gift Certificate” box and click “Go”.
To check your balance or purchase additional Gift Certificates, visit our Gift Certificate page.
Is the item I want going to go on sale soon?
While we do have sales regularly, unfortunately, we cannot determine when an item will go on sale in the future. Check back often for pricing updates!
Please note that it is possible for different variations within the same product style to have different prices.
My email address has changed. How do I update this information to my current account?
It’s easy to update your email address so you can continue receiving our communications. Visit the My Account page and navigate to profile to make changes to your account.
The item I want is out of stock. What do I do now?
We’re sorry the item you want is out of stock. Check back often for inventory updates, or reach out to Customer Service to learn more about when an item will be restocked.
Do you accept orders through VOIP?
While we are happy to hear from our international customers, we are unable to accept VOIP (voice over internet protocol) calls at this time. You may call us from any landline or cellular phone at +1 800 880-0307. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
Do you accept international credit cards?
Currently Blue Basil Gifts can accept international credit cards, however, we can only ship to an address within the United States and its territories. Please note that the credit card must be a valid issued Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.
Please note, orders placed with the use of an International Credit Card may take up to 72 hours to finalize prior to shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Do you allow Cashier's Checks or Money Orders?
At this time Blue Basil Gifts does not accept Cashier's Checks or Money Orders.
Do you charge sales tax on any item?
Blue Basil Gifts collects tax on orders shipped to Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, New Jersey, Texas, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
If you are shipping to any of these states, any applicable tax will be calculated on your merchandise total at checkout, and displayed on your final order confirmation. Please keep in mind, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if shipped to a state listed above.
For Washington residents:
Zappos Retail, Inc. collects the simplified sellers use tax on sales to Washington customers and remits the tax on behalf of Washington customers to the Washington Department of Revenue.
Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?
Yes! Blue Basil Gifts understands that the safety of your personal information is extremely important. We use a wide array of electronic and physical security measures and devices to protect your personal data and credit card information from unauthorized access.
Is it safe to use my debit card online?
Yes! Please note: If you choose to pay by debit card, the amount you charge will be put on "hold" in your account, meaning it will not be available to you once you place your order. Once your transaction is processed, the amount of the transaction will be withdrawn from your account and the original "hold" will be voided.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently, Blue Basil Gifts accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express and PayPal (including PayPal Credit).
Can I pay with multiple Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover Pre-Paid Gift Cards?
Currently, only one payment method can be used per order. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Do you accept PayPal?

What are cookies? Do I need to enable cookies on my browser?

What are your shipping and return policies?
Blue Basil Gifts offers free shipping on most orders placed on the website, with no minimum order sizes or special exceptions. Typically our orders are shipped within 24 hours. You will receive a shipping confirmation the moment your item leaves our warehouse.
